Meet Amanda
Serving as your Treasurer is one of my greatest honors. Every day, I get to work alongside a dedicated team to protect taxpayer dollars, modernize our systems, and make sure government works better for you.
This role is about more than numbers—it’s about trust, service, and community. And I’m committed to working hard for Calvert County with all the experience, care, and energy I have to give.
Calvert County
Calvert is my home. It’s where my family and I put down roots, where we worship, where my son goes to school, and where I’ve chosen to give back. I teach 7th grade faith formation at my church, volunteer in local initiatives, and spend my free time like many of you—balancing work, family, and the life we’re building together.
This community has shaped me, and it’s why I serve with both pride and humility.
My Experience
I’m a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than 15 years of experience managing finances for organizations both large and small. I’ve led international finance teams, built accounting systems from the ground up, and helped nonprofits and businesses protect their resources and grow stronger.
I founded West Bridge Finance Solutions to bring that expertise home—supporting local businesses and nonprofits right here in Maryland. I’ve been published in Accounting Today and the Nonprofit Accounting Basics, and I’ve taught a class for the Nonprofit Institute at College of Southern Maryland.
As Treasurer, I brought all of this experience with me. From day one, I’ve focused on service, oversight, and modern solutions.

Family
At the end of the day, I’m a wife, a mom, and a neighbor. My family is my greatest joy and the reason I care so deeply about the future of this county.
Like your family, mine depends on a county government that is responsible, transparent, and worthy of trust. That’s the standard I bring into the Treasurer’s Office.
Passion for Service
Public service, to me, is means putting the community first. I believe the Treasurer’s Office should not only safeguard your money but also make your experience easier, clearer, and respectful.
I’m proud of the progress we’ve already made—streamlining processes, improving service, and laying the groundwork for a more modern office. But this is just the beginning. With your support, I’m excited to continue building a Treasurer’s Office that reflects the best of Calvert County: hardworking, trustworthy, and future-focused.
Vision
Every dollar matters. Every resident matters. And every day, I will keep working to make sure the Treasurer’s Office honors the trust you’ve placed in it.
It’s not just about numbers—it’s about protecting what we value and building a stronger Calvert County together.
